NATIONGROWTH has made the hiring of hand-picked suitable and very committed, capable and enthusiastic people one of its key personnel policy. Given that we will be using portable wireless technology (laptops) and small branches, there is a current and on-going need to train our staff to exercise excellent, reasoned and quick credit judgement, but also to be very savvy at using wireless and other computer technology.
This kind of staff training will be continuous as NationGrowth grows and takes on staff from outside Kingston. Trainers will need to work with the rural staff. This will be a costly operation but one which will equip NationGrowth’s staff with skills which they will use and management will manage to provide us with a competitive edge. Our staff will spend a lot of time with their clients and in order to keep them sharp, training will be reinforced and constant.
